Karen Loehr, Creative Director
Karen has 22 years of experience designing and producing complex publications. Karen’s expertise is executing projects from concept to design, such as annual reports, proposals, and trade show materials. She has won numerous design awards for Two Sisters Creative and as a Senior Designer at Computer Sciences Corporation, including the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) 50, Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, and the District Two Addy. Her work appears in the books Creativity 30 and Creativity 29, for which her work received a gold medal. Karen has a BFA from the Corcoran School of Art. She currently holds a Secret Security Clearance.
Susan Rose, Writer
Susan is a copy writer and editor with 18 years experience developing communications materials that explain complex, technical information. Susan’s career began as an editor for high-tech, electronics publications. Over the years, she has specialized in writing brochures, newsletters, and other materials to educate targeted audiences about programs or products. Her expertise is explaining complex technical information to audiences with no prior subject-matter knowledge. As a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, Susan led communications campaigns for federal environmental programs. She has also worked as an associate editor for Cahners Publishing and editor for the Forum Corporation. She has a B.S in Journalism from Kansas University and an M.A in Urban and Environmental Policy from Tufts University. Her work has won several awards for writing. She currently holds a Secret Security Clearance.
