Our Name
Yes, we really are sisters. But that’s not the whole story about how we came up with the very clever name of “Two Sisters Creative.”
Like most new companies, we did a lot of brainstorming about our name. What would be the coolest and make the most impact? We drank a lot of coffee during this process.

Here is our ultimate thinking:
- Our surname of birth is Rose. Rose Creative, Rose Communications, Rose Design…blah. We didn’t like that.
- What is the Latin word for Rose? Rosa. Not much better.
- What kind of Roses are there? Jackpot! There are hundreds of varieties of Rose. Who knew?
- Of course, when we saw the Two Sisters rose, we knew it was the one we needed to use. After all, it’s described as a hearty and adaptable rose that can grow and thrive in a variety of conditions. That sounds like us!
