I worked with TSC for two consecutive years on the registration brochure for our annual tradeshow, InfoComm. This brochure contains information regarding more than 100 education sessions, general sessions, and other events that take place during the week-long show; it is one of the most visible and important pieces of collateral we produce each year. Designing and producing the brochure is always a challenge for our staff and our designers. First, it contains a tremendous amount of information that must be presented in a logical and intuitive manner, while also fitting within the page requirements we have for this project.

TSC demonstrated an ability to conceptualize innovative ways to present the information so that the brochures were easy and intuitive to navigate.

Second, our production schedules are always very aggressive. We have a short window of time from when we finalize the show’s program content to when the registration brochure must drop in the mail. TSC met our schedules, working with our staff and our printer to ensure the brochures were delivered on time. The first year, Two Sisters completed the project from start to finish in approximately three weeks, and that included a complete change in design direction mid-project.

We needed a design agency that could help us repurpose our catalog to give it a more sophisticated look. Two Sisters Creative worked with us to develop a concept that took our catalog to a new level. In addition, our catalog contains more than 250 books, many of which belong in more than one category. Two Sisters helped us develop an interior format that was logical and easy to navigate. And they helped us develop a coding system to indicate which categories books belonged in that was intuitive for the audience to use. The interior design also provided flexibility, for instance such as starting a new category on a half page. That design flexibility allowed us to stay within our pre-determined page limit for this catalog, which was vital to controlling printing and mailing costs.
